This forum is great. I've been reading posts, absorbing knowledge, learning techniques, copying recipes, and making my list of things to cook. My list is getting pretty long, so I'm sure my cooker won't go wanting for use once it gets here.

I just received my new SM045 Super Smoker....my 1st Cookshack. I seasoned it yesterday and will be heading out tomorrow to buy some meat to cook. Your gonna love it... congratulations on your purchase....

Try to let er rip while CS is open, that way they can help if there is a issue before the weekend,you know, they aren't going to be around on the weekend.

Man what an Independence Day weekend! Started off Friday night with Lion Back Ribs! Yummy! Yesterday was Pastrami for some great sandwiches! Currently have a pork butt in there smoking since 11PM last night! Pulled pork samiches tonight. Throw in some salmon later for vegetarian sister. Tomorrow (my birthday) wings at Hooters! Tuesday diet! (yeah right) LOL Cheers all!!!

Do the wings on your smoker. Guarentee that they will taste better.

Absolutely but the 50 yards of sod yesterday reminded me I'm older than I want to be. Time for some pain killers, coffee, and Oh, jerky in the fridge is ready, time to fire up the CS.
