Started 6 butts in my AQ yesterday at 3 PM. I should have went by time vs probe (200 degrees) but I was worried about starting them so early. I need them for about noon today. After 7 hours the AQ went into keep-warm mode! I readjusted the probe and the probe temp dropped to 180 so I thought I was good. Checked at 6 AM and again it had gone into keep-warm mode and apparently it did so shortly after I thought I was good.
I removed the probe from the controller and the AQ still thinks I have it connected. I had to disconnect the lead from the circuit board. I hooked up my trusty probe and the butts read 140. This ain't gonna end well.
Sigh.
I wonder if I should foil em and crank er up to 300?
