Brand new to smoking and the forum. I have been lurking for the past few weeks learning from all of the great info. I have read through the x101's and I'm smoking my first butt today.
I picked up a couple wireless therms, one by master forge and one by weber. I can't set my own temp on either so I'm stuck with the presets. I calibrated both and they were set fine, it is the handheld that I did not like.
I was wondering if anybody has tried the iGrill from apple? It is a bit expensive so I want to make sure it is worth it. I have a Thermapen instant read, but I don't like opening my smoker to often.
