I live in Australia and I am interested in ordering a smokette online. Does anybody out there know if they come in a 240 volt model? It is not extremely important, because I can always use a step-up transformer, but it would be much more convenient for me if I could get one that is already wired for 240 volts.

Hi i2BBQ!!!

My personal intentions are for smoking turkey and pork, at least to begin with. I never thought about smoking sheep, although it sounds like a really good idea and I might give it a go.

P.S. Let your Donna know that she need not worry about anyone smoking a koala, they are a protected species.
Micah: I don't know a thing about mutton, but lamb might work in a Cookshack. Lamb is so succulent, it's not my first candidate for smoking, but with a Cookshack, you can make the smoke = zero. Do a search of the archives of this forum. You will find some discussion...
Now, about that water buffalo brisket. Do your butchers use the term "brisket?" Can someone shoot a water buffalo for you? Smoke that!
