You'll burn about 40% less pellets.
You can use the hold feature to kick the temp up,after several hours of smoke,so you can stay at the motel longer.
This could be the biggest item from a comp perspective.
We think we may get a little nicer color?
Until you break it in a day,you will get more temp spikes and swings than your old FEC-but then it will settle into +/- 4*.
Seems like there is a little more ash and pellets on the floor,until it breaks in.
The firepot seems to stay more full of pellets and ash-so clean it out well after long cooks.
Basically it cooks like a dream.
