Sorry to bother you guys. I did what I should have in the first place!!!

I read all the posts after searching RAIN! DUH!!!

I am going with the large cutting board propped up on soup cans covering the electrics and the hole. Good enough for today. THANKS

If it windy where you live, you may need a little weight on top of the cutting board/plywood.

One more soup can should do the trik just to be safe for, but no wind for today. THANKS!!!

I am gonna have my husband figure something out. We can build something out of wood. then it wont cause the condensation either like metal would also it will be heavy enough not to get caught up in most winds. Then again, we have had the patio umbrellas take off (and they were weighted down). But like I have read, I can wait if it's that bad. Vicki
