ok here is a dumb qustion, how do i use the jerkey rods, do i drape the jerkey over them or do i skewer them at the top. thanks

Poke the sharp end of the rod through an end of each strip of meat, thread them on and then the ends of the rods go into the grooves in the grill racks.
