Maybe im just overlooking them on the cookshack website but does anyone know where i can buy the jerky rods for the fec? I may see if i can find some stainless steel rods here in town if i cant.

I'm not sure the FE has jerky rod.
You can use just regular stainless steel rods, just make sure they're compatible with food.
If you don't see them on the site, maybe a call to CS. Might be something they have, just not on the website.

So does anyone know what to look for to make sure they are compatible with food?
I'm not sure what grade of stainless, but you want to make sure they're not plated or just coated.
You might also check in the jerky forum down below. I think some of them might have home made versions.
