I can see your point, especially from your location.

We all came from south FL

I think since much of the class is interactive, rather than show and tell,it would be very difficult to piece them together to make sense.

The fact that most of the attendees were experienced FEC cooks, there was more sharing amongst folks, with input from the CS staff and the couple of great guest cooks.

There were a lot of specific questions, with lots of folks giving input.

There was a lot of hands on,moving around, and seeking out the group you wanted help from.

Lots of the items we heard at Ponca City, have been thought over and readjusted on the contest trail.

We have crossed paths with several of the attendees, all now doing well.

I'm not saying the DVD couldn't be done, and down the road it might not be a great idea.

Just my $0.02

Mango,

I bought Ed Roith's Happy Holla BBQ tape some time ago.

That was set up to tape, nobody standing in front of a camera, or asking questions from the back of the room. He even interviewed his butcher.

Go to Tom Chilton or DocT's website and notice all the "hands on and moving around", at the Cookshack class, like Tom said.

There is one secret that Eddy will never let leave the room.

Just do it! Roger
I read that somewhere also, but when I registered, I mentioned that I had just bought my FEC and Erin still wanted my credit card number for the fee. I also previously read that if you took the class and later bought a FEC, the cost of the class was deducted from the price. I did not see this in the current ad so I believe that CS discontinued this policy and the free tuition for owners.

For Quigley (and all those interested in attending the class), the $200 cost of the class can be applied to the purchase of a smoker (and a smoker only, sorry!). All attendees also get a great welcome bag full of useful goodies for the class (with plenty extra to take home with you). So it can be thought of in two ways:
1. You get a $200 discount on a smoker if you purchase after attending the class
or
2. The class is free if you buy a smoker at it
Either way, you're guarunteed a good time and to learn alot from these two Q experts. Not to mention all the delicious food!
I look forward to seeing you there!
Mike, the $200 class fee can be applied to the purchase of a smoker. We are still honoring this however the our expenses are so great we do have to charge everyone (including FE owners) the fee. We feel that the quality of the class and all the "extras" that we provide are well worth it! Please call me if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Erin
