Joplin 1 Year Anniversary

Operation BBQ Relief is back in Joplin for the 1 year anniversary of the F5 tornado that wiped out a good portion of the city and will once again be cooking for the residents of Joplin. They plan on serving about 8000 meals tonight.

On behalf of OBR, I would also like to thank Stuart and the folks at Cookshack for their support. Without them our task would have been much more difficult.
We cooked 168 pork butts and turned them into PP sandwiches for a lot of grateful people.
As a side note, Cookshack's Rib Rub goes very well on pork butts,give it a try!

Awesome job going back!

I gotta get more hooked up on this. I've done similar things myself, so tell me where and how I get the inside info when these things pop up. As you can imagine, right now, it's tough for me to even been in the forums... too many pokers in too many fires.
