Largest load yet | Cookshack

Well we got it done. We prepped 409 lbs of butts on friday night, tooak about 45minutes with 5 people.

Then we loaded it up at 11:00 (friday night) and let her go til 2:00 (saturday). And pulled some off for thenext 2 hours based on location in cooker and size.

Some were around the 6-7 lb and others were around 9-11 lb. I had all but two spots full. 48 butts.

I had asked the question a while back about added time for really large loads vs 100lb loads.
the big load did take longer, about 20% longer. I guess it only makes since, The BTU's vs the amount of work to be done. All enjoyed, team made money. And plenty of left overs.

Holy cow, Randy... Oops... Holy pig would be more accurate! That's a lot of butts. Did you take a picture of a full cooker?

Just with my phone. My brother is the photo guru. But he didn't bring his camera. Witht he 500 you only see one tray at a time.

At one point I did have 16 of the butts wrapped and sitting in the 100 finishing them off.

It was pretty full.
