Loading the fec for comps

I have a new vehicle for competitions, i've actually had it since jan but i haven't done any competing this year. I am looking for some ideas of the best way to load and unload for competitions.

I have a step van with double doors on the back, they open to 38" wide and the height is 62" ( if i'm remembering properly) the door is approx. 30" off the ground

I have had a few ideas
1) a ramp thay i stow in the truck, i'm just concerned the ramp will have to be really long to roll the top-heavy fec steadily
2) build a platform to roll the fec onto that you could carry in the truck and load and unload each time
3)load and unload the fec out onto the ground

Any ideas suggestions would help, i got spoiled with my dad's trailer i just rolled it out onto the ramp door on jacks and cooked right there on the trailer.

Too bad a lift gate is so expensive.

Haven't done it your way.

If you fill the vehicle with the smoker, what about all the supplies, chairs, etc, is there room for them?

The small trailers can be found on the internet pretty cheap, that might be an option.

Yeah i have a 6 feet by 11 feet space to put the smoker and all other stuff plenty of room.
