Lurker Story

I've been a lurker for about 2 years. Use other brand,works but not what I want. Wanted N fe 100 BAD,but pocket book won't handle it. afraid I wouldn't be happy with anything else. decided AmeriQue might be OK, so Fathers day 2009 saw special for Amerique. Didn't buy it, still had FE on mind.(Big Mistake) Price increase just about put it out of reach. Well maybe they wiill have sale again, Fathers Day 2010. Never saw it,so apparently no sale this year (Looked all over for it) So hereI am still lurking and wishing. The moral of this story is -- If you see what you want, don' wait buy it. Thats the end of my story. Thanks for listening.

That is the saddest thing I've heard since DMassey told everyone he would be away from his FEC100 for 6months. It is nice to see that you came out of the shadows to ask for some help/sympathy.

Since you are a paitent person, I'd call CS and see what they have that is used or might come available in the future or if they would take your name in case. Might work, or then again I saw a cs020 at cabelas that hadn't been all sold out. That's a nice smoker for the money.

Hi Smoked, welcome to the active side of the forum. So sorry to hear about the trials and tribulations of your Cookshack quest. I'd suggest giving Cookshack and call and ask for Terri (Sales). Perhaps they've taken in a FEC100 or an Amerique on trade-up, and would offer you a refurbished price. It's a free call...give it a shot.
