Have been reading the recent threads about all the bacon everyone has been smoking.
A few weeks ago I was in a local restaurant and tried some "Man Candy" (also known as candied bacon)as an appetizer.
Brown sugar coated BACON- it was delicious.
Thought I'd give it a try.
Many of you may already have done this- let me know your recipes.

For 1 pound of bacon

3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp ceyanne pepper
2 1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper

mix indredients, dredge bacon in sugar mixture and place on wire cooling racks
bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes- turning bacon after 15 minutes.

let cool on waxed paper
