Do the makers of the Maverick remote temp have a website? I tried looking at thegadgetstore, but they don't have it there any more I guess.

Thanks guys! Which of the dual probe models would you get? I'm getting a smokette so I would think knowing my grille temp wouldn't be as important as being able to monitor two different meats at once?
If you are getting a Maverick, get model #ET-73.

Wow I wish I would have waited. I just ordered it from partshelf.com for 10 dollars more than overstock sells it for.

Just read you posts; I ordered the Maverick ET 73 from Partshelf.com Regular price: $59.99 Sale price: $39.95 and thought that was a pretty good price everything considered. It is specifically meant for smoker use. But, I did have trouble with the receiver unit; it locked up and stopped displaying temp changes after about an hour. Did anybody have display problems?
PS - I agree it isn't user friendly e.g. On/Off switches.

I think you'll find that accurate cooker temp is far,far more beneficial than multiple meat temps.
Think in terms of 16 pieces of meat to decide which to probe,and a wild guess as to what the cooker temp is-no matter what it is set for.
