Maximum temp for a FEC-100?

Does anyone know what the maximum temperature I should use on the FEC-100 is? I've read people going up to 450. Will it go past that?

I'm just looking to understand the safe limits of the device, not a debate about smoke temps.

My IQ4 controller goes to 424 degrees if I remember correctly.

According to Eddy, the FEC 100 has a limit switch that will kill the power at 450*F.

We are experiencing a problem where our FEC100 reached the maximum temperature and killed the power. Can you tell us where the switch is to start it up again? Thanks
