I have seen the mention of putting mayo or mirale whip on turkey before smoking. Why and which one is best..... I made my brine last night and I am about to go pick up my box of drumsticks.
I did some chicken wings with a Paul Kirk marinade for 24 hours, patted them dry and rubbed them with mayo and used some of the Cookshack Spicy Chicken rub. and smoked them at 220ish. Came out fantastic.
