Hi all,

This is my first post, but I've been a lurker for awhile. Great website!!!

Anyways, I just bought a new Cabelas Professional Meat Grinder (1 hp). Nice unit. In the past, I have made the ground jerky and used a jerky shooter. Good system, but when you make a lot of jerky, it is a slow process. Does anyone know of a jerky shooter type of attachment that I can put in my #22 grinder and use it in a sausage stuffer type of fashion?

Or any other way to make a lot of this style of jerky?

Thanks.

yeah, I've seen that one and another variation of it. But I guess I really don't understand how it works. I think you shoot the jerky out on the wax paper and then transfer it to your smoking rack? Seems like a lot of unneccesary steps. Anyone ever used this or have any other ideas?

Thanks.
OK, just a follow up for everyone. I bought the LEM jerky maker, round snack stick maker, and patty maker. When I opened the box, it appeared to be a real nice all alumininum construction accessory for my ginder. But, it did not funtion well for making the jerky strips. Simply piled the meat up on the paper and if you tried to pull the paper along to help it, it would not help. Also, the strips were inconsistent with each other. IN other words, not all the jerky stips would come out at the same speed or some would and others would not.

Just fyi for anyone looking into it. I returned it.
