Just a quick note to remind all forum members to watch their local newspapers for info regarding equipment to enhance their BBQ experience. I just left an auction at an old school being closed in our area. During an auction of school cafeteria equipment, I was able to purchase a Univex 6509 Meat Slicer (1 year old) for $160.00! MSRP on the unit is 771.00, so not a bad deal for waiting a few minutes in the heat to buy it,eh?

We had been looking for one for a while to slice smoked meats (hams, etc.), which will then be vacuum sealed in our Tilia ProII and frozen for future use. Sweeeeeet...
