I have had this smoker for around 8 years and the other day it wouldn't stop heating up the twemp would keep climbing to 250 even when temp was set at 210.....what puked?????

More than likely your control is bad.I would try and dry it out to see if you have a moisture issue. If that does not fix it get with Cookshack tech and we can help out.
