model 50

I am really interested in purchasing a model 50. I have just recently noticed though some problems brought up on the forum about there being a problem with the woodbox housing and not producing enough smoke. Is this an ongoing problem or one that has been corrected? Looking forward to getting started and enjoying my cookshack smoker when it arrives.

Even though you are a tarheel and I am a Blue Devil, as a fellow smoker, I will look past our athletic differences! I was one of the people challenged by my 55's lack of smoke, spoke with Stuart, and all has been resolved (thanks Stuart). I have owned a cookshack smoker, a smokette, prior to my 55 for the last 5 years and couldn't be happier with the products. I made back ribs that were considered the best ever tasted by my fellow NC neighbors last weekend in the new 55.
