I made 4 - 1 inch rib eye steaks, I seasoned them with kosher salt and garlic powder at room temperature. Smoked them for 1 hour in my 008 with hickory. Then finished them on my grill. High temp for searing, then indirect heat until done! The wife loved them, and thought I used a sauce for the flavor. No oils or any other seasoning, just garlic and salt! The best!
