There are a couple of really fine rubs that are excluding it for label reading purposes.

They are having trouble getting thier overall blends to suit them.

The cookteams now are adding it back in,to get the same perceived quality.

Like jack says,I have met one person in my life that does appear to have at least the allergic,if not the headache from it.

Just a thought.

As Jack said, I react to msg. I get a tremendous pressure on the temples and it feels like my head is being squeezed flat. I've only had this happen a couple of times, thank heavens. I was eating Chinese food both times. I remember biting into something really salty or savory, a different taste, and then it started. Maybe it is just a reaction to a large amount at once. However, I don't think it's a good thing to risk. So, it might have been a reaction to something else. And I don't ask if msg is an ingredient because I like to eat everything! I didn't have what is called an allergic reaction. That would be tingling or burning in the extremities, tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, hives. I would inform people if you do decide to use msg. Then it's up to them.
I never include it and don't think I'm missing anything.
