Doesn't matter. The parts you will apply the foil to (the drip tray and the bottom) won't get a huge benefit from the seasoning. If find with all the dripping, etc, the bottom doesn't really stay seasoned.

Well I seasoned today. Set it for one hour,one hand of pellets, and push the start button. Work like a charm. 300 for hour and went off. Cooking 56 pounds of Pork and beef in the morning. Lenny

Mike after my first smoke foil,plan for it to use more pellets the first time. Double check on the temp that is showing on your screen and what it showing inside. You might do like I did plan for a hour more of cooking. It is great. Looking forward for the weekend. Lenny
