I am smoking in the smoker and need to keep already smoked food warm. I would like to know the best method to use for keeping a grill hot? Thanks for the help.
Several forum members keep smoked food hot by wrapping it in foil, then in several layers of newspaper, and placing it in an ice chest. The ice chest provides enough insulation to keep it hot for several hours.
Yep. This method works well, just keep in mind the meat temp will rise sometimes several degrees while wrapped up tight before it starts cooling down. I wrap in HD foil twice and then dry towels twice, then I put in the smallest dry cooler it will fit in. Works very well.
