need help!!!!!

I got up at 4:00am to brine my other 2 chickens but made a mistake, was at my buddies house last night for a drink and some conversation, told him what I had planned to do. I guess the pb must have been good because he called at 7:00am(no work today) and asked if he got 2 chickens if he could put them in the brine also.Sure I said, plenty of brine,I told him to get 4-5 lb birds. That is about the size of mine. My question is since my will brine 10hrs or about twice as long as his and I have only one probe whose chicken do I stick and what problems will I encounter?????? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,sort of thought that way,but 6-8 hrs of reading a day then laying a wake two thirds of the night rehashing what I read seems to be clouding my mind at times. I don,t think I ever read this much when I was going to school,but then again I think maybe it is just the subject.

You can bet when I make it to town their will be a couple more probes in the shopping cart.

This may be a dumb question, but wouldn't you probe the smallest bird? If you probe the largest bird and it alerts you when it is done, then the smaller birds could be past the temp to pull them. The only thing that might help if you do probe the largest bird is if they are all brined as this would provide a larger window of done temps while still remaining moist.

You guys rock, get this my buddy come over to help me smoke. We had a drink and I coveince him to help me shovel snow off of the drive( that is the bosses side). I guess that was good pb.His buddy came over, has a masterbuilt smoker needless to say could,t beleive what he seen when that door was opened 2 1/2 hrs later. I tell you that it was the very best I have ever had. Gave hus buddy the cs forum site tou can bet he will check us out.

Oh by the way I had enough time to think when I was shoveling. KISS that works,TNQ you rock, I'm from the "show me state" and that beef you showed me,I BELIEVE and with this KISS aproach what else could I do Prode MY largest bird set it on 175*. It was a hit,brineIII thanks smokin' and CarrollFamily.

And as always I would like to think everyone that made this smoke possible
