I continue to love my fec100, and I've cooked ribs and butts, but I need to cook chicken halves for about 6 people. I'll do 8 halves. Can anyone suggest a good recipe for success with halves. I'll probably use the chicken rub that came with my cooker. I would appreciate any help with time and temperatures and such....Thanks guys....John

John, I cook thighs on the bottom rack with the temp at 400 - 450 degrees and pull them at 180 degrees internal temp. Remember this is for thighs. It takes about 40 minutes to do this. I then pull them out and sauce lightly and put back in at a temp around 300 and leave for five minutes. Always come out juicy. Just use your favorite rub. If your rub has lots of sugar in it you will have to watch them so they do not burn.
