Got it yesterday at Frank's Great Outdoor's in Linwood, MI. Been looking at Cookshack for some time now and didn't want to wait any longer. Have it seasoning now and am looking forward to some good pork butt on Saturday. About 45 minutes into the seasoning I was standing next to it and was startled by a WHOOSH and a bang. Glad I had a good grip on my beer. I read about this happening so I wasn't too concerned. But I did notice that after it happened the smoke coming out was kind of yellowish and had a more pungent odor. It did go back to the normal color a few minutes later though. If this happens with food in the cooker, will it cause the food to have a foul taste?
