Ask for a quote on the 14th got a great price quote on the 17th so I called Karen at Cookshack and placed the order. AQ shipped out the 17th and arrived here in Colorado the 23rd. Broke it in on the 24th and wil try my first true smoke this weekend.

I have been using a Bradley for over ten years and decided it was way past time to update and am sorry I waited so long.

The AQ is a tank and shold last longer than me. A hand me down to the next generation!

Dealing directly with Cookshack is great.

Yepper, I will do my first real smoke tommorrow evening into Sunday. Have been up all night with the Bradley checking every couple of hour, making adjustments the AQ should let me get a few more hours of sleep. :-)

Found a $4 pice of pork at local market, was some sort of boneless ribs. Threw them in with 4.1 oz of hickory for four hours at 250 degrees.. I did foil bottom and wood pan cover and did remember to poke a hole. The AQ put out quite a bit if smoke with this smal amount of wood. Sure beats the price of hockey pucks for my Bradley which I am going to give (one way no returns) to my son in law.

Grab a small pork butt to season the smoker with...wouldn't hurt to run it with 4 oz of wood for a couple of hours prior to the PB.

Don't forget to foil the bottom and the wood pan cover.

Enjoy.
