So......... I've decided that the UPS guy is now my new best friend since he FINALLY brought me my new 008 !!!!!!!!!!

YAHOO !!!!!! :=))

He arrived about 4:30 PM so of course, all thoughts of dinner for tonight were immediately and indefinitely postponed, (DUH) while I put the thing togetrher and got it set up on the stand .........

Since CS does NOT provide UPS tracking numbers (there's a good upgrade for us impatient individuals), I had no way of knowing when it would actually arrive. Therefore, I had no meat ready for a break in today ...... :=((

So for tonight, I'm just doing a wood and water seasoning while a nice, fat, PB sits under some FABULOUS homemade rub - and we will begin a re-season manana before the sun even thinks about popping up.

Am just SO excited that it's finally here.

BTW - wife keeps poking her head out the door, smells that incredible wood smoke and keeps asking me "Hey, what's for dinner ?"

Hell - there isn't even any meat in there .....

Could it get any better than THAT ?????

The anticipation of that pork sammich will make it all that much better. It will get even better the more you use it.
