New FEC 100s

Had two FECs delivered Tuesday. I have only managed to unpallet one, and it's seasoning now. The commissary here sells baby backs in packages of two racks. I have 22 packages ready to go in tomorrow morning. Bought two packers at $1.33 per lb. Then went to Walmart and found out they had them on sale for $.78 a lb. Bought two took them to the truck, and then went back and bought two more. May go back tomorrow and do it again. That's what freezers are for, right.

I plan on cooking the ribs and two briskets tomorrow. Big plans for a first try, but no guts, no glory.

Congrats ez, mine arrived on Thursday. I have 6 racks of ribs, two flats, two butts, and chicken thighs lined up waiting their turn. I cooked 12 thighs last night and was very pleased, especially with the crispy skin. Good luck.
