New FEC100 "BIG RED" has arrived

Hadn't really named my CS smokers, like I did my old offsets, and others, BUT

Take a look at BIG RED, with the IQ4:

And yes, even I get hit by the Shipping Ding sometimes, but I know that's where the latch will rub the most.

I believe this is powder coated at a plant just near CS.

See, I KNEW you guys couldn't NOTICE the first ever FEC with Powder Coat without going all College Football.

You know I could say it's USC Red also.

LOL

Plugged her in yesterday, filled the pot, set it at 250 and it purred along all night, and it sat at exactly 250.

Now putting it through it's paces.

That's a great question. I have no idea.

I just did it so I could be the first (I knew they did it on the small CS's, why not an FE).

This is basically a test run of the process, if there's enough interest, I'm sure they will.
