This morning I put a ham (8lb) on the fec100 and this is my second cook with it. Last Thursday I cookded a beer butt chicken and both were great! Sorry no pictures taken.
Used the meat probe today with the ham and it worked great. The temp. swing seems to be about 8-10 degrees on the cooker. From what I have read this may get better as it gets seasoned.
So far no issues and its great. This morning when I got home from work I put the ham on and went to bed since I am working nights. Got up at 1130 am to check it out and it was cookiing right along. At noon the temp for the cooker was dropping as the probe directed it to, since the meat was at the probe set point. Everyhting is great at this time. Sorry again for no pictures. I will do better I promise!
