Worcestershire powder!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been playing around with worcestershire powder lately and I gotta say it's magic! This stuff is more fun than when chipotle became the happening new flavor profile. Big Grin

Having the most fun with it on the grill. Especially if I use Texas BBQ rub and let it set for a few hours then a light sprinkle of worcestershire powder. Got some Texas Wild coming just to see how they play together.

I've never been too big of a fan of the sauce, but the powder gives me so much more control over how I use it. Nice nice nice. I have no idea why, as much as I experiment, I've let this magic dust escape me for so long!! I've been VERY happy with my pork butt and haven't wanted to experiment with anything other than woods, but this weekend I guess the cookshack will be doing its thang while I'm at the BBQ festival in Lexington,NC. When I get home from eating piles of Q I'll have a worcestershire suprise waiting for me. Who knows? I might even like it. Wink

Anybody else use it, like it, hate it? Smiler

The Spice Barn is where I've been getting mine. I looked at the ingredient store and couldn't find it. So, spicebarn.com or I've seen it at suttonspices as well.

Burgers work well with the stuff. I really like the ability to use a small, med, or large amount and actually incorporate it into my rubs. Have fun!! Big Grin

I got mine from Spices Etc. I ordered a gallon each of worcestershire powder, honey powder, and molasses powder. With shipping, the cost was around $119, which was about the best price I was able to find.

Go to the following link and then click on speciality seasonings.

I noticed that there is a difference in how the spice barn and spices ect worship powders are put together. I'll have to give spices ect a try just out of curiosity, but right now I'm very happy with spice barn. But, who knows....the vinegar solids and stuff may make all the diff. in the world. Smiler
I called Spices, Etc. to check on my order and was told they were out of worcestershire powder in the gallon size. They asked if it would be okay to go ahead and ship the honey and molasses powder with a quart of the worcestershire powder at no charge for the worcestershire powder. They would sent a full gallon of the worcestershire powder as soon as they got it in.

Sounds a little like Cookshack customer service.
