Set up new smoker today. Plugged in and all I get a solid green display. No words at all are displayed like "off". Holding the temp button down. Still nothing. Any ideas?

Its an Amerique 066 by the way

They have decided to send me a new control panel. My only disappointment is that they are shipping it UPS Ground meaning it will be another 5 days after already waiting through the shipping time of the smoker. For a 3 pound package, I would have thought they could have sent it overnight. Hopefully the new control panel will do the trick.
You might call customer service bck and offer to pay the difference for overnight or 2 day shipping....if the part hasn't gone out yet.
Make sure to keep us updated. You will love it once it fixed, sorry for the problem right out of the gate.
