We have decided to change our new lineup as follows:

Smokette Essential - available in black only
Smokette Elite - available in stainless steel only

Super Smoker Essential - available in black only
Super Smoker Elite - available in stainless steel only

The Essential Series includes the controller but no probe, and both models are black steel with a stainless steel top.

The Elite Series includes the controller and a meat temperature probe, and both models are made of stainless steel.

We found that lots of people were confused by all the choices, and so were we.

If you have your heart set on one of the models that we have removed, we have a 30-day grace period in effect. Call Karen Hoogendoorn at 1-800-423-0698.

Thanks Donna! I'm really psyched about a smokette 020 which I have coming. It really seems like a good value because of the extra width and the digital controls. Is everything else, (the construction, materials) identical though to the previous versions? It seems almost too good to be true to get all that extra width and digital controls for just 25 bucks more.

We're using the same gauge metal for the new models, we just got tired of having to cut ribs in half and roll up briskets so we went with the wider grills... you'll love the new models! I did some of the test cooking on them and they work great!
