New Smokette Arrived

First of all, thank you Karen for your great service before and during the sale, I really apprciate the the service you provided.
It is too late to fire the baby up but I have a chicken and some ribs all rubbed and ready to smoke tomorrow. I am glad I went with CS, it is a nice unit.

welcome to the forum and congrats on the smokette, I just put some ribs in seasoning, will cook friday or saturday with a brisket on saturday evening. I have had my smokette now for about three and a half weeks, and lovin every minute of it

I am looking forward to using it. I love BBQ and grilling, but sence moving in to a townhouse i have not been able to do either due to the no fire cooking rules. Well CS solved that problem and I will be back in business.

Just curious. What model did you settle on? Regardless, I'm sure you'll enjoy your new smoker and if you ever have any problems, you can count on cookshack to cover your back, I speak from experience.

Got the stainless steel Smokette, I broke it in last night for six hours. It will be put to use in a few minutes with Three slabs of ribs and a chicken.

One word about my CS, AWESOME! I over cooked both the chicken and ribs. They were a bit dry but still awesome. I had to go to work and my wife forgot to take them out. They smoked for 4 1/2 hours. I figure 3 1/2 - 4 would have been perfect. I will make sure to be home next time!
