Well not yet just ordered it last night so it should be here in a little bit.

Before I start...anything I should do or look at?

Am I limited to any types of meat in this bad boy?

My whole reason for buying this is due to my obsession with ribs and pulled pork. But I would also like to try different things...whole chickens or parts....ideas?

IMO you could not have bought a cookshack for better reasons. Ribs, chicken, brisket, etc can all be challenged but I honestly don't know of any person or any machine that can make a better pulled pork, seriously. It does everything well, but the pulled pork is just so effortless for the unbelievable results.

Only my tv beats pulled pork out of my smokette in the "effort/result" award. I mean all I have to do is press a button and the Chiefs and Jayhawks are right there in my living room. Now that is just too impressive, sorry cookshack, but its a close second. Warning: if you mix the two, it may result in sensory overload and require hours of napping afterwards.
