As of 8/31 (my birthday by the way) I will officially retire for the SECOND time. First from the Air Force, this time from HP. They offered an early retirement bonus and I took it.

Now if I can just find a new job. Can't live on two retirement checks. It's not like the old days were you actually RECEIVED retirement checks.

Show us a picture of the PIG RACK. I might be interested in one for my FEC500. People have asked about doing a whole hog. Where do you buy this PIG RACK? How big a hog can it do. How do you use it in the 500?

Well, you need a welder if CS didn't do it for you (but would be easy enough).

CS sells the option and they installed. It's 4 brackets, two in front, two in back. You take out all the rotisserie shelves. Then you place to rails front to back. They also make the Stainless Steel Tray to hold the Pig.

When I'm out at Oktoberfest tonight, I'll try to take some photos before I fire her up for seasoning.

Great looking rig. Wish mine was stainless. Mine needs a paint job.

Dang this sure looks nice. Judging from the load of pellets, either the consumption is up or you don't plan on shutting this thing down for a long time.

I have two FEC 500's in use for 9 days at the Choctaw Oklahoma Oktoberfest.

Pallet of pellets = 800 lbs, 40 bags.

Very Nice. Its hard not to like these things.

I have no desire to cater or have a restaurant however, I do love cooking a load of BBQ for people!
