Hello been along time since I've posted. My problem is that I have a "04" model 55 that I have not used in years. I scraped the inside out and went to re-season it and it never got over 100 degrees and no smoke. It worked fine before but now no heating up to smoke sml chunks of wood. Is there supposed to be a cover over the thermostat? It has a little gunk on it, I think. Never had a problem till now. Any help would be great.
