Oiling | Cookshack

Has anyone actually oiled the fan shafts in their FEC100 as suggested in the manual? How did it work out, and is it hard to do? What kind of oil did you use? Any help on this issue will be appreciated. Mine is running fine, but I want to keep it that way. Thanks, guys.

I think Eddy says three in one oil every 3 months or so.

None of us has gotten around to it.

I bet if you call or e-mail customer service they would send you a manual for your cooker. Kathy

Do you take the motor off to oil it?

Not that I'm aware of, just oil the locations where the fans rotate, I believe it's a sealed motor.

If in doubt, just call CS and talk with them.
