We drove 5 hours and decided this would be a good place to stop and enter a contest. Rain all day, getting stuck trying to park the rig, getting pulled out wasn't fun. Rain stopped that evening and started back up about one hour before turn ins started. We stayed right on the fringe of calls then won 1st in brisket and Reserve Grand Champion. That makes the rain seem like a your best friend when cooking on a FEC.
