I haven't seen a post by Pags for a long time. Did I miss something? Does anyone know anything about our friend Pags?

He's been busy but said he'll be back soon! He responded to a PM over the weekend.
Yes, I spoke with him a few times in the last few weeks via PM. He is fine. He was out of town for a bit.
That's right, he said he was coming up to Chicago in May to visit relatives. We'll have to find out which Que joints he hit while he was here.

Padrefan knows about my Chicago trip via a PM. I've been lurking, but I just haven't been in the mood to post.
The first 4 days of my trip to Chicago was a blast...Wrigley field, parties, Harry Carey's restaurant, tour of downtown. Then the fun stopped when my twin brother, John, had a brain aneurism and passed away. We're all in shock and working our way through it. Just glad my son and daughter in law wanted to get back to meet family allowing me some time with my brother.
You'll never know the relief I got reading all your daily posts. Took my mind off things. I had fully intended to contact a couple of the Chicago forum members to see if I could buy beef sandwiches at Johnies, but not in the cards this time.

Oh Pags soooo sorry to hear of your loss. Just remember that we on the forum all love ya lots and feel your pain!! Sorry to hear of your sorrows, but rather then soak in misery or what ifs, let your time be spent remembering all the good times. It is much better to celebrate a life lived, that is the way I want it done when it's my time.

From the Mrs. and myself- our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I've got a twin, too- couldn't imagine losing him. I wonder how many forum members are twins and feel the same way.

Our deepest condolences.My wife[is one of a pair of twin sisters]/co-cook,along with Ribdog.
She is also a twin and the twin sister has joined us around the country at several cooks.
She is inseparable in our lives.
