Papa Shaka??

I have read about Papa Shaka before too but never met the man. I know his place is down in the River Market area of Little Rock and thought it was called "Papa Shakas."

Yep, that is him. He and his daughter have a large booth (actually 2 spaces) in the River Market on President Clinton Avenue. (East Markham)

That's the man, stop by, he's a good friend and great cook!

My 2 youngest KIDS, out of 5. I only have 1 grandson so far, he is almost the same age as my youngest daughter, in the pic.

Papa is a longtime forum member here. He and his crew put forth an outstanding product, as you can see.

I would recommend anyone doing business in Little Rock to visit the River Market and have lunch at Shaka Smoke Lodge. Downtown Historic District. President Clinton Avenue, just a few blocks west of the new Clinton Presidential Library.
