Picked up a 16# packer choice Angus brisket that was already brined and corned, ready to smoke and have pastrami. I would have posted a picture, but I shaved the whole thing, and all my kids and grand kids ravaged it. I was lucky enough to get one large sandwich on some good rye bread. At $1.57 a pound, and all the time saved, you can't go wrong. It usually takes me five weeks to get one ready to cook. Real tasty and not salty.

I can't get just points out here. But I was surprised to find a packer ready to go. Usually find just small flats. I am from New York and I can't find any good pastrami joints here. Use to be a guy from New York who had a deli in a horse betting parlor in Reno. Now he made the real deal with the correct rye bread.
