I have been usuing Candys pellets thru advice from others. How are the new cookshack pellets? I know,I know.....there has to be some bias here but I am seeking more of a smoke flavor.

You'll be happy with the new CS/FE Hickory pellets. I've been using them for a few months now...decent smoke ring and hickory flavor. Very little ash.
If you're looking for a more pronounced wood smoke flavor on PB's or briskets, consider a 2 stage smoke...4-6 hrs at 180 and a finish temp of 225-250.

For me, the new CS and Candy Sue are the same. I believe they are both a 65/35 blend or 100% (depends on which pellet flavor)
I have used Candy's pellets in mine for 2 years without an issue. Just bought some I had not tried before as I can't find Candy's in AZ. Nothing but problems. The pellets would not burn down and the firepot filled up with little mini- charred pellets and the fire would smother out every 2 hours as the firepot would fill up. I am going to try the CS/Eddy's pellets next and see how that goes.
I agree BBQrs Delight and FE pellets are about the same. In my area I can get the FE Cookshack for about $11 a 20lb bag. I can't find 20 lb bags of BBQrs Delight anywhere. The 10 lb are about $7.50 North Carolina
I've used both Candy's and Cookshack. At this moment I have 20 pounds of Candy's and 200 pounds of Cookshack pellets on hand. Needless to say, I like them. As a side note, I tried some Traeger pellets and did not like them nearly as well.
I myself use Candy Sue BBQDelight she gives a great price as well and sells a good product i use allot of Cooskshack pellets as well and say they are about the same flavor and the same constant temp.
I really like the Cookshack pellets. But Shipping to my neck of the woods is brutal. So I typically use Bear Mtn. they produce less ash and there is less dust in the bags than Traeger.

One thing to do is post here and PelletHeads and ask if anyone wants to share in a Pallet. Sometimes you find people, sometimes not. I see this happen all the time and it's a great way to share the cost as well as meet others.
