Those of you that have had both CS pellet smokers and CS stick burners...do you have a preference for one over the other taste-wise?

Wasn't aware CS made stick burners. What model?
Well, I consider the SM models as stick burners. Any CS product that doesn't us pellets.
Ok, but I think it is amusing to consider a 2 oz piece of wood, about a 1 1/2 inch cube, such as I used in my SM066 for salmon today, a "stick." In any case, I have only used electric smokers, most recently my Amerique. I can say that it is all too easy to overdo the smoke. I find the flavor of my product to rival any I've had in any BBQ restaurant, allowing for differences in meat treatment and technique. That's what I think really makes the difference in taste: treatment and technique.
Thanks Jay. The reason I have a PG500 is that it grills and smokes. But it is not ideal at grilling. And because I think the pellet aspect is somewhat less than ideal for smoking I have thought of getting one of the SM models for smoking and getting a gasser for grilling.
That's my system. The only thing I "smoke" on my weber grill is chicken wings, since I can't get the combination of tender meat and crispy skin I want in the smoker. When I do that I use a A-MAZ-N tube smoker filled with pellets on the grill. I get pretty good results.
