Hello group! This is my very first post here. I currently own a little cook shack electric smoker but I've always wanted a PG 1000. It's always been out of my price range. I am considering ordering the PG 1000i but, naturally, I have concerns. I have talked to the factory and been told that the basic cabinet, material type, and fitness is all the same between the 1000 and the 1000i. One of my concerns is parts in the future. One thing I failed to ask the factory is if the pellet burner was the same or not. Also, I have concerns the third party Wi-Fi control. I wonder if these things will be available in the future? I am not sure how well this grill is being accepted by the community and if it will be around in the future. Any thoughts anyone may have about this would help me with my decision. I would love to hear from someone who's actually bought the 1000i. Just for reference, the reason I'm interested in this product is I want to smoke and grill. Doing this with one appliance seems like a nice thing but I wonder if I'm sacrificing on one side or the other.
