My PG500 is set to deliver next week via Fed Ex freight. Does Fed Ex call me to set up a delivery time or do I just take the day off and stay home the whole day?

I don't know, FedEx didn't deliver mine. maybe you'll have to take the day off. OR you could wait, they try to deliver, you're not home and they ship it back to CS

When they shipped mine, Karen gave me a delivery date and they had free gate unloading added to it. Well the afternoon before the delivery date I called the FED X company about what time I could expect it and was told It wasn't gonna be delivered the day it was suppose to be, it came one day later...so beware of this and maybe try to confirm delivery with FED X after you get your delivery statement...just a thought!

I always confirm shipment with FedEx. Be safe then sorry

I have no problem taking the day off and waiting. I may not be able to stay sober, and then when it arrives I might end up attaching the shelf to the wheel and the wheels to the top of the hopper.

Cookshack should be able to provide you with the FedEx tracking number when it's ready to ship. Just go to the FedEx web site and track the unit's progress. You want to be at home when it states "On FedEx vehicle for delivery".
Yep, I just checked. It was picked up today in Ponca City OK.

Whatever you do, unwrap and inspect the unit before accepting or letting the delivery person out of your sight. Also, have your camera ready. If you accept and inspect later, Fedx will blame you for any damage.
At least in Tucson, Fedx will not call you, you must call it to arrange for delivery. And yes, we get to wait all day.
