PICS--American River Salmon...Pags strikes it rich.

My son went salmon fishing on the American River last weekend and caught this beauty. He estimated it at around 25 lbs.


Of course, the fish really isn't that pretty...just a figure of speech.

He filleted the salmon and gave me about 6 lbs. Now, those are beautiful.


That's the Leech Lake Fillet Knife I bought him last Christmas in the picture. Also, a thing of beauty.

I'll smoke up all the salmon and give him some back along with some of Que'n RN's salmon spread to show my appreciation. I'll get some more before salmon season ends.
